RE: Blinker Usage

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Your car has a right and left blinker for a reason. Use them.

And, in case you slept through this portion of your driver's ed class, or have just failed to remember the simple steps involved in using your blinker, allow me to offer a refresher course:

1. Turn blinker on
2. Brake
3. Turn

Notice that you turn your blinker on BEFORE braking and/or turning, thus alerting drivers behind you of your intent. Turning on your blinker after you brake or when completing a turn isn't helpful since the purpose of the blinker is to inform others of what you plan to do, not to celebrate what you've just completed.

Please take this information into consideration the next time you are on the road...particularly if you happen to be in front of me.

P.S. You might want to brush up on the rules of merging, since none of you seem to be able to do that correctly either.

Amen to that. Apparently gettin a license at 15 is a good idea, since us Idaho drivers understand the rules of the road.

LOVE it. So incredibly true! The only thing worse in when you're very own husband is sometimes the culprit of this very act. Grr. Drives me crazy.
