I love baseball. I pretty much always have, and for sure always will. I definitely don't follow it as much as I used to, partially because my sports-loving husband rates baseball third on his list of "good" sports. (And he hates the Yankees, one of my two favorite teams.) But, every time we go on a trip, Brett is always more than willing to go to a game with me. So, on the 15th we went to Petco Field to watch the San Diego Padres play the Cincinnati Reds.
Our seats were incredible. We were on the third base line, 13 rows from the field....13 rows! I was in heaven! It's too bad we weren't just a few rows closer and to the right though. Somewhere in the second inning, a guy about eight rows in front of us caught a foul ball. Then, a few innings later, a guy sitting two seats down from the first guy caught another foul ball. Crazy!
And, just for the record, during the game, Brett agreed to travel the country with me when we retire and hit every baseball stadium. You better believe I'm going to hold him to it!

Oh boy!!! You got to see the Reds play! Cincinnati is our team :) Matt is from Cincinnati so anything having to do with the Reds (Baseball is his all time favorite sport, he was a pitcher all through college) The Bengals or any other team, he's all about it. I hope you had fun at the game, I hope you hold him to that promise to see all the stadiums, that would be so awesome!
Awesome!! Its great to get away and just PLAY isn't it!! Good for you guys. This post is getting me super excited for our Cali trip at the end of June. Wowzers.. I wanna go NOW! I bet Sea World was so fun. I've never been and have always wanted to go. Way cute pics! I love the shark one!!!
