A few months ago, I was browsing the shelves at Barnes and Noble, and came across a hilarious day planner. It was designed to cater to the avid procrastinator, and since I definitely fall under that category, I bought it. (There's your first clue that I'm a procrastinator...who waits until March to buy a 2008 planner?)
Anyways, every week at the top of the page it has "Procrastinator Wisdom." I get such a kick out of them, so I thought I'd share a few of my favorites.
Life expectancy has increased greatly. Procrastination is an excellent way to ensure that you'll have things to do throughout your life.
Don't be jealous of punctual people who finish things before you do. They're just arriving at a state of boredom earlier than you.
The people who say "Just do it!" obviously have never tried the alternative.
A to-do item is nothing more than a suggested activity to be under-taken if desire meets opportunity.
And my absolute favorite...
The longer you put something off, the greater the chance you'll forget what it was you had to do.
