Motherhood According to Macy

Last night while Macy was taking a bath, she announces:

"I can't wait to grown up and be a mother."

"Why is that?"  I ask her.

"Because..." she says,

"...then I can go to the gas station whenever I want,

I can take naps whenever I want,

I can go grocery shopping and buy whatever I want.

AND,

I'll make sure my kids don't wake me up when I'm sleeping."

Sign me up for mother of the year because I'm pretty sure

I'm painting the perfect picture of motherhood for my daughter.

Geez...
