He was born in Utah. She was born in Virginia. He grew up in Harrisville, UT. She grew up in Shelley, ID. He served a mission in Clevland, Ohio. She went to Utah State for a year, then spent a year in New York as a nanny. He got home and moved to Salt Lake City for work. She got home and started school at the U. He started going to a U of U singles ward. She started going to a U of U singles ward.
They met. (6 years ago today)
She made the first move. He denies it to this day. She (and her friend) invited him (and his friend) to go country dancing. He (and his friend) came. He said he wanted to get contacts. She just happened to work for an optometrist. He made an appointment. She helped him learn how to put contacts in. He asked her on a date. She said yes. He continued to ask her on dates. She continued to say yes. He met her family. She met his. He picked out a ring. She didn't know he had colaborated with her best friend to get the exact one she wanted. He proposed. She said yes.
They got married.
She can't imagine life any different...or better. He can't either.

YEAH! I'm the "best friend"!! Ha ha I had forgotten about the ring. But you are definitely right you made the first move; I remember getting their number after fooz-ball that night and going dancing. O the glory days, picking up random men... :)
