80's Night

I have been wanting to do an 80's prom night ever since I read about it on my friend Daina's blog. But, after several unsuccessful trips to D.I. and Savers, (doesn't anyone donate old prom dresses anymore?) Heidi and I decided we'd just go with a straight up 80's night.

Brett and I went for the 80's butt rock look. Aren't our shirts amazing? Thanks to my sis for telling me about this awesome thrift store in Sugarhouse. And just a little side-note...I'm pretty sure I was meant to be in the 80's...I made that white scrunchy in less than 5 minutes. That takes skills.

Mike and Heidi. Heidi's jacket was by far the best accessory of the evening. I don't even want to know what the person who bought that brand new was thinking.

Jana and Kyle. Love Jana's bangs and Kyle's retro Jazz tee.

Cody and Shalese. I wish Shalese would have been turned the other way. She had one of those neon shoelace bows in her hair...remember those?

Brad and Annette.

Group shot of the guys.

Group shot of the ladies. (And proof that I should never be allowed out of the house in leggings again.)
We had SO much fun, as we always do. We jammed out to a bunch of 80's hits, then watched Dirty Dancing. That show didn't seem nearly as cheesy when I was younger...
