January and February.
By far, the two slowest months of our year.
So slow in fact, that I had to combine the things we did
over the two months so it would be a decent length post.
We got a visit from Grandpa Vance and Grandma Barb.
Couldn't have been happier to have them!
The days get pretty long during those winter months,
so we tried to find stuff to keep the little crazies entertained.
Balloons were quite a hit.
As were the various art projects we attempted.
A massive blanket fort kept them busy for a good 15 minutes.
The sleepover in a tent was pretty fun too.
Our mooching skills did come in handy this month.
We managed to convince the Johnsons to take us to
a couple of Utes basketball games.
In other news,
Macy's school had a "dress up as your favorite book character" day
at school. Fancy Nancy, at your service.
Here's to hoping things pick up next month!
(Including my blog post writing skills.
Severely lacking in that department lately.)
