It's hard to believe it's October.
The weather has been gorgeous and we've been
squeezing in as much outside time as we can.
We took a little walk around Temple Square,
and ended up in the Children's section of the Church History Museum.
Not exactly outside, but it's one of the kids' favorite places.
Columbus Day=day off for Dad,
(thank you federal government)
so we took a trip to the zoo.
Don't tell the animals,
but I'm pretty sure the merry-go-round
is the kids' favorite part.
We caught one of Brett's flag football games.
We also finally got around to checking out the downtown library.
It is amazing!
However, the hightlight of the outing was definetely
chasing the birds that were hanging out by our car.
(Is it weird that every time I see this picture,
I start singing "Feed the Little Birds"
from Mary Poppins?)
Here's to hoping this October weather never ends!
